Temporary Authorizations/Holds
A temporary authorization/hold is not a charge. This fee is a temporary hold that will drop off within 10 business days depending on your bank. For clarity this pre-authorization is held to verify your payment method on file ad sufficient funds to ride.
- Once you have completed your ride, Spin adjusts this hold amount to the cost of your ride and then release any applicable funds immediately.
- The only charge you will be billed for is your unlock fee and actual riding time.
Please be advised, you may also see other "fees" that are related to this Pre-Auth process that may look out of place, but that's just how our backend payment system facilitates end-of-ride costs. The price in your Ride History is how much we actually capture!
