What is Spin Access?
Spin is proud to offer Spin Access, which provides access to our scooters for people without smartphones, mobile location services, or credit cards. Spin Access also provides discounted fares for those who qualify.
What discount do Spin Access members receive?
Discounted rates vary between cities, upon approval you will receive an email with the discount you qualify for which will automatically be assigned to your account (only one account per user is eligible). Discounts are assigned based strictly on the location you were approved for and cannot be changed upon request. Discounted rates are subject to change at anytime based on the demand of your city. If changes should occur, members will be notified.
Which cities is Spin Access offered in?
Spin Access is offered in most cities where Spin is available. You will be able to select your city on the application form if access is available. If your city is not listed, Spin Access may not yet be available in your city.
What information will I need to provide to apply?
Applicants interested in applying will be asked to submit at least two forms of eligible documents and proof of valid ID.
Can I share my Spin Access discount with family and friends?
No. Spin Access benefits are only assigned to one user account. Sharing your discount, benefits, mobile device or Spin account with anyone other than the approved member, is not permitted and will result in termination of the Access membership.
Where can I see my Spin Access?
The discount currently will not show up in your app. However, after you are accepted onto the program, a support agent will confirm the discount on your account. You can see the price of each ride in the "Ride history" tab of your app.
